Introduction Meeting
During this initial meeting we will go over lot selection, preliminary design planning, as well as budgets and financing options.
Design
Once we get a settle on the completed design, we will start to select finishes and finalize the scope of work of the project.
Contract
At this time we will finalize pricing, contractual documents and any financing that has been established.
Pre-construction
This is the time where we double check everything, and finally get to start placing orders and pulling permits. The first real steps of your home are materializing!
Pre-Construction Meeting
During this meeting we will review the entire home and specifications. We will cover anticipated timelines and establish expectations of our team and you going forward.
Selections
We will walk thru all selections with you from finishes and paint colors to cabinets and flooring. It can be overwhelming but this is fun part where you really make a house your home.
Permitting & Material Ordering
This is the time where we start collecting permits and ordering material and supplies needed for the job.
Construction
Within a few months, you will be relaxing in your brand new living room!
Ground-breaking
The day that you've been waiting for! We will break ground and begin construction on your home! The days may seem long, but before you know it, you will be moving in.
Site Meetings
We will schedule regular site meetings with you to review progress, follow up on any questions that you may have and ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding next steps based on where we are with the project.
Post Construction
Things are wrapping up! It's time to put the finishing touches together and hand you over the keys. Trust us, it has been worth the wait!
Finishing
As we wrap up your home, you will be given opportunities to walk thru and give any final feedback. At this time we will obtain a Certificate of Occupancy and go thru Final Inspection before you can move in.
Final Walk Thru
At Hammond Construction, we believe that our New Home Orientation is part of what sets us apart from the competition. We will provide you with a New Home Handbook that will give you all the details, including maintenance and warranty information on your new home. Then we will hand you the keys so you can enjoy all of the hard work and time you've put in!
